ORIFLAME TRIPLE CORE LIPSTICK RAVISHING ROSE REVIEW

Hello b’ful ladies!! Today I’m going to review Oriflame Triple Core Lipstick Ravishing Rose. I purchased it a little time back when I got a little overtaken by the claims of the company about the product.. Here’s what the company says about this lippie:

MY EXPERIENCE WITH ORIFLAME TRIPLE CORE LIPSTICK RAVISHING ROSE
I was very excited to try these lipsticks as they were claimed to be the world’s 1st Triple Core Lipsticks. Even while ordering this one, I was quite sure that the color won’t be the one that’s shown in the catalogue, as this is what mostly happens with oriflame. And it proved me right! But I wasn’t very disappointed as the shade is very beautiful. It is suitable for everyday wearing. The shade is pinkish red, and suits me beautifully. I have a feeling that it plumps my lips a bit.  :-*(Though not claimed so by Oriflame) The pigmentation is not as good as shown in the catalogue (again, as always).
It looks beautiful on my lips and I feel that it would compliment fair girls more than the dusky ones.
It is very hydrating. :))
It’s not a lipstick that has a long staying power. If worn alone, it lasts for 1 hour strictly and disappears leaving a few glittery particles on my lips which I don’t like a lot.
If I swipe the outermost part, that’s the lipstick part once or twice after applying this lipstick, it stays for around 2 hours intact if I don’t eat, drink or talk a lot!! I guess it is because of the balm and gloss part that it doesn’t have a good staying power.
I like the idea of combining three things together!
See the difference between the picture given in the catalogue and the picture clicked by me? Now that’s what I don’t like in oriflame.
Now, the beautiful and the ugly about the lipstick:
THE BEAUTIFUL
·         The lipstick is very hydrating.
·         The packaging is classy and very lightweight.
·         There’s a rim of the color in the middle of the lipstick, so if you have too many of these lippies, you’ll be able to identify the color you want to pick.
·         The color is buildable. You can swipe it more times to get more color, and more shine!
THE UGLY
·         I don’t know if it’s a con, it plumps up the lips. It might be a turn down for many women out there.
·         It somehow smells pathetic!!  I don’t have a problem as I don’t have a very sharp nose, others may have an issue with this!
·         No long staying power.
·         Not well pigmented. It’s a major setback!
·         Can be purchased through an oriflame consultant only.
·         Color varies from the catalogue. You don’t get what you see!!
Would I buy it again: I’m too unsure, I might not purchase it again.

Himalaya Almond And Cucumber Peel Off Mask

Himalaya Almond And Cucumber Peel Off Mask

Hello everyone!! Today I’m reviewing himalaya almond and cucumber peel off mask. I actually didn’t purchase it, I used the one my mum has. Now, I’m all set to buy one!!

What it claims:
Unclogs pores. Peels away blemishes to leave a healthy, glowing skin. Almond nourishes, soothes and softens the skin. Cucumber tones your facial skin and provides cooling effect. Pineapple removes impurities and dead tissues, and firms up the skin. Indian Gooseberry (Amla) has cleansing and anti-oxidant properties.

Directions for Use:
Apply evenly over cleansed face and neck, avoiding the area around eyes. Allow it to dry for 10–15 minutes. Gently remove the peel from the side of the face. Use once or twice a week. Do not apply on broken or inflamed skin. Follow up with Himalaya Herbals Face Moisturizing Lotion.
Key Ingredients: Each ml contains:

Pineapple (Ananas comosus) – 25 mg
Almond (Prunus amygdalus) – 15 mg
Cucumber (Cucumis sativa) – 10 mg
Indian Gooseberry (Emblica officinalis) – 5 mg

Cucumis sativus (Cucumber, Trapusha) has an enzyme that helps keep the facial skin soft, has a healing and soothing effect on damaged skin and is a natural sunscreen. It acts as a toner and lightens facial skin.
Emblica officinalis (Indian Gooseberry, Amalaki) has cleansing and antioxidant properties.
Prunus amygdalus (Almond, Vatada) has soothing, softening and non-sensitizing properties on the skin. It also moisturises the skin and cleanses.
Ananas comosus (Anannasa, Pineapple) has astringent and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps in removal of foreign material and dead or damaged tissue and also acts as a cleanser.
Price:
Almond and Cucumber Peel-off Mask is available in the size of 100g for Rs. 110/-.

My Take on the product:
The tube has a flip open cap.
This is an amazing thing that I found in my mum’s stuff. It immediately gives a glow, smoothens skin, makes it soft to touch and supple. I am all in love with it and it makes my skin very glowing. It hydrates my skin and makes it fairer and look healthier immediately. My skin feels clean, clear and firmer. The only minus point that I could find is its bad smell.! I still bear the smell because of the immediate effects it gives to my skin, but some may not like it.
I’m simply loving the product and I’m going to use it regularly!! I actually have a special liking towards peel off masks and they remind me of the projects I used to do in school using fevicol!!
The product is pale yellow in color, and it’s easy to spread also. I didn’t feel any stinging sensation.
Now jumping to the pros and cons, I’d like to sum it up like this:
Pros:
1.       It is very gentle.
2.       It does dry quickly – within 15 minutes max.
3.       It does make the skin soft and supple; smooth and firmer. All in all-lovely!!
4.       It is very reasonably priced.
5.       It is a Himalaya product.  I love natural products!!

Cons:
1.       The only con is that it smells BAD BAD BAD. Nothing else!!

My verdict: Simply loving it.
Will I re-purchased: Yeah, surely!
Will I recommend it to others: Yes, everyone must try it out!! It’s definitely worth 1110 bucks.
Rating: 3.5 on 5
